Our Adult Boot Camp sessions are designed for adults looking for a challenging training program.

The program is designed to actively challenge effort and coordination with 40 minute movement-based sessions. No two sessions are alike, and all are fun, high-intensity and educational, which is unique compared to a traditional gym-based workout. Our AFBC classes are tough and rugged with high cardiovascular workouts that burn fat and develops athleticism, coordination, and balance. Performing the same exercises and type of movements athletes use, you will look and become more like an athlete: lean and toned in all the right spots. These classes will challenge the strength of mind as much as the strength of body.

The training provides men and women which is acceptable for any age and training level with a motivating, team-oriented environment to train, lose weight and get in shape with sessions which include total body training. This small group exercise is designed for the individual who would like to improve their body composition, flexibility, cardio-respiratory capacity, strength and overall fitness. The classes are forty minutes in length and available at different days of the week from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm in the evening and a morning class on a Saturday morning from 7:30 am to 8:30 am at both locations. They are instructed by a qualified and exciting coach, providing direct supervision to maintain correct body mechanics and technique while exercising.

The coach provides instruction and guidance with the exercises to make sure the client feels comfortable doing them. Each client may progress at their own rate, making sure to prevent any injury. The exercises are always different to promote maximal input to the neuromuscular system, allowing participants to maintain or even improve the necessary balance and proprioception that so many adults begin to gradually lose as a result of inactivity.

The AFBC always begins with a dynamic warm-up followed by Prehab (yoga) and a series of core stabilisation exercises, agility movement, upper and lower body strengthening, and built-in cardiovascular exercise. Sessions always vary from the usage of light body weight exercises to using medicine balls and other implementation, depending on the individual. A simple cool down and a stretching session will occur at the end of each class, as well. Class attendance can vary from 1-2 clients up to a maximum of 20 during one session. We will often pair up with partners, if available, during training to create an environment that helps with accountability. This team atmosphere builds camaraderie and an escape from the usual workout routine. Clients are always expected to come along with a water bottle, a yoga mat, and a towel.

Throughout the training program your coach will meet with you personally and privately to discuss your progress and areas of concern. You are generally expected to have a very light meal at most 30 minutes before training just to help raise energy level to complete the training. Sessions are always fun, feel great and it’s simply a unique way to look and feel better.
